Mexico, one of the leading fruit and vegetable producing nations in Latin America, is the official partner country for FRUIT LOGISTICA 2010. Covering nearly two million square kilometres, Mexico is the world's 14th largest country. Mexican officials have announced plans for a high-impact presence in Berlin next year. The country will be represented by all key business and trading partners at the international trade fair for fruit and vegetable marketing. Along with an appearance by the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture at the FRUIT LOGISTICA opening ceremony on 2nd February, Mexico will provide the cultural and culinary background for the official reception afterwards.
Mexico has continued to build its presence at FRUIT LOGISTICA over the past 10 years. For the Mexican fresh produce trade, FRUIT LOGISTICA is a key marketing platform for growers, suppliers and export companies specialising in the production and marketing of fresh, top-quality fruit and vegetables.
Representatives from the Mexican fresh produce trade point to the fact that the country's slogan "Best from the Fresh" is widely recognised on the international stage. This claim to high quality will be supported by the country's outstanding product presentation at FRUIT LOGISTICA, the leading marketing platform for the international fresh produce trade and premier meeting place for business prospects and companies from across the fresh produce value chain.
Mexico exhibited at FRUIT LOGISTICA for the first time in 1995 and has been present at the event with a national pavilion each year since 2001.
FRUIT LOGISTICA 2010 will be held in Berlin, Germany from 3-5 February.
